Guilty as charged. And really, my life's not such a bad place. I need to stop and smell the roses more often, and quit fretting over the thorns. Peace!

Here is Bobby McFerrin's song "Don't Worry, Be Happy" which I want to use for my answer because it makes me happy and not worry.

Here's a little song I wrote
You might want to sing it note for note
Don't worry, be happy.
In every life we have some trouble
But when you worry you make it double
Don't worry, be happy.
Don't worry, be happy now.

Don't worry, be happy. Don't worry, be happy.
Don't worry, be happy. Don't worry, be happy.

Ain't got no place to lay your head
Somebody came and took your bed
Don't worry, be happy.
The landlord say your rent is late
He may have to litigate
Don't worry, be happy.

(Look at me -- I'm happy. Don't worry, be happy.
Here I give you my phone number. When you worry, call me,
I make you happy. Don't worry, be happy.)

Ain't got no cash, ain't got no style
Ain't got no gal to make you smile
Don't worry, be happy.
'Cause when you worry your face will frown
And that will bring everybody down
Don't worry, be happy.

(Don't worry, don't worry, don't do it.
Be happy. Put a smile on your face.
Don't bring everybody down.
Don't worry. It will soon pass, whatever it is.
Don't worry, be happy.
I'm not worried, I'm happy...)

Yes. (Oh no! Was that a long enough answer? Did I spell correctly? Is this person going to think I am stupid? Why am I answering questions on this site when I should be doing something constructive? Do I have enough time to do all I have to do tomorrow? I really should lose a few more pounds. I think I am having a breakdown.....)

That is a description of my life and has been for the past 8 years. It is mostly about life changes:
disability, loss of income, bi-polar disorder. My lifestyle had to completely change and I dont ever think that I can be accepting of it.

You're living in the future or the past and you can't do anything about both. So relax and live in the present. If u have faith in God and trust that he'll manage your life better than you (He does) you'll enjoy the present better.
