You Mother is giving it power by believing it is bad. I am Wiccan and yes pepper can be used it a spell calls for it. But in the mean time she is giving it power my just getting so upset. There is something you can do just to ease her mind and that's to put salt around the home. Salt is pure and some see it as good luck, like when it is spill you throw it over your shoulder. Tell her that to ease her. She is not nuts. Some old wives tails have meanings. Just keep in mind who has been in your home? I have never heard of that black pepper can do but I have never studied the dark arts just Wicca. Good luck

Black peppers have nothing to do with magic. I'm a witch, I do have some kind of clue.
Stop freaking out and it will stop all on it's own. Someone is messing with you.

First take into suggestions do you have any pets consistent with threat a mouse project do you men save it in the homestead? use it regularly? Is something undesirable occurring? it ought to purely be a spirit letting her understand its there. It doesnt mean somebody is after her. if shes that demanding attempt blessing of the homestead and or a secure practices spell.

I've never heard of anything to do with black peppers being black magic. Maybe just clean up any black peppers you see, before she sees it so she doesn't worry?

You should get rid of the black pepper. From what I have read in books, I don't think black pepper is used in black magic.
If a black cat or some type of witches brew was in the house, then I believe this should cause some concerns.

Get your mother some mental help, if necessary, then try to eliminate the source of the problem. It' probably just mouse poop, accumulated dust, and/or somebody trying to cause some kind of a stir.
