I have a physical disability, and some people think I have a mental disability because I wear leg braces and I walk funny. Stupid, i know.

The biggest misconception would be that I'm irresponsible. People around here seem to think that because I'm almost thirty with piercings and tattoos, I'm not an "adult" and I'm irresponsible! How crazy is that!?!

Everything that people think about me is usually a misconception, a build an outside me, a superficial facade that everyone sees, nobody has seen the real me yet.

That I'm "shy". There is a big difference between being shy and not being good at starting up conversations with strangers.
When people use to comment on how quite I was I always wanted to say "Well if YOU started talking to me I would talk back!" Very annoying.
Anyone who really knows me would never say I was quiet or shy!

My age. I am told that I am anywhere between 12-16. I am 20, and they also think my carebear tattoo is fake. I usually reply yeah I got it out of the gumball machine. It is so weird the customize temp tatts now.

That i will stab them in the throat if they speak to me lol. But strangely old people have no problem asking me for time etc while all the people i worry are gonna give me a hard time stay away o.O im not buffed up or anything,it makes no sense

That I'm stupid cause I can't do math very well.
And at the same time I have a job in the United States Geological Survey, which just doesn't seem to get through to them...

sometimes people seem to think that im gullible. some seem to think im hot or really gorgeous, im not. truth is im downright nerdy looking..then theyd follow that up w/you have self esteem issues. no i dont. do i? that because i like a few guys i like guys in general..no! most guys are jerks. no offense to the guys here...that im weird. that im insane. that i have a dirty mind (only sometimes)
not sure but i think the biggest out of those would be the gullibleness, weirdness or insanity.

After speaking to a person for a while they usually tell me that they think that I'm conceited. & i don't "act black" and i don't "speak black" & don't lQQk black.
After they meet me they tell me that what they assumed was totally the opposite of what they thought and i'm so glad that we both have the opportunity to converse.

that i'm mean, moody, bitchey, and crazy...i'm only like that at work because the employees and the customers drive me absolutely nuts...i'm actually a very nice and quite person who can get crazy if you treat me like dirt.
