Technically speaking, nerds are not cool. Cool nerds are, as you pointed it out, an oxymoron. The concept of 'coolness' does not get along with the concept of 'nerd'.
Let me try to give you an example:
Define 'coolness'.
Define 'nerd'.
Do the 2 definitions have anything in common? No. Thus, nerds cannot be cool. qed
Did I sound nerdy? I'm not.

I've always thought so...
Intelligence is FAR more attractive than stupidity.
I think that the stereotypical "cool guy" can be very rude, dumb and boring.
Likewise with the girls - cheerleaders are cruel and ignorant.
The geeky girls will blossom into beautiful women who can take care of themselves when they have to.
Now, don't get me wrong - there ARE helpless cases... people who have seen just how far down the nerd-hole goes....
Nobody wants THEM showing up at a dinner party!

i think anybody is cool it's the person in general you have people from different walks of life so if the person has a good attitude ,heart, i dont care who except stuck up people! cheers!
