what is it about that cartoon that so many ppl, adults and children alike, find so entertaining?

Ive done alot of research on subliminal messages in High School and believe it or not, Spongebob is FILLED with subliminal messages and was originally meant to be a cartoon for adults. There is hidden penises, vaginas, and demonic faces hidden in the backround, spongebob is also gay......have you seen the episode where he was watching porn? the swearing one? how about the one where him and patrick raise a ''clam'' together? do some research on it, you'll be shocked and disapointed, as was I :)

i guess they dont want to seem childish or like the creepy adult trying to be a kid lol I loved spongebob when he first came out and I always will unless it starts to get lame...

I don't know, Spongebob drives me nuts. But it seems that most people who do like him are imature or white trash.

I like the show too but I don't know why some people consider it gay.
