What a very interesting topic you have brought up.....I am an Inupiaq (Eenopak) the best I can do for you in English..Just say it like you see it...I am what you call an Eskimo which we are not.It is an Indian word... Inupiaq is our word for "The Real People" and have been existing in the Northern Most Regions of "Alaska, Siberia, Canada, Greenland. We all can speak the same Language. Our belief of Good and Evil has existed but not in the sense of putting them into human form...It also has to do with nature and everything in it and man having supreme dominion. With survival of the Fittest...Although their were Shamans that practiced the dark arts to control villages to gain wealth. The Good Shamans practiced healing using the natural plants and chants which were passed down and learned by the tribes. This is a dying art but still shared through the family lineages. I still know my family lineage song and passing it down to my relatives. This is our way...The only other thing I can bring up on the subject is we knew of a creator who was good, then there had to be something evil...It is the law of nature. Me I would like to spend my eternity with my tribe when things were serene before the coming of the white race, who seems to bring nothing but distruction in its path. and destroying the ecosystem of our precious homeland...but a calm serene world with our way of life and one with NATURE.....The evil shamans that once ruled certain villages along the northern coast of Alaska at one time controlled over 8,000 Inuit and amassed wealth and showed no respect. They were eventually killed off when the first Europeons brought Alcohol...When they passed out, the people in fear would butcher the shaman and spread his body so that he could not come back to the village using their magic spells they practiced.

Assuming they're real as the Bible defines them, then I'd definitely pick to stay with God, because well, things aren't so great in hell, I'm told.
But I've always viewed, in my own mind, as Satan not being evil at all- rather, a sort of complementary to God who works for the same basic goals. Both are trying to lead people to 'salvation' (however you define it)- God by trusting people and Satan by tempting them. Different methods, working together. But that might just be my own interpretation.

I would want everlasting life through God. No more pain, sorrow, worries, etc. He keeps His promises. Satan on the other hand is a master at deceit. not to mention the fact of being in the fiery pit for the rest of eternity just doesn't appeal to me. And I know that they are real. Only Faith can show you that. Without faith, you won't really have to choose who you'd spend eternity with.

Tough choice, I'm not particularly fond of either of them. On one side you have Yahweh who is a total control freak, then on the other you have Satan who pretty much encourages you to get rid of all ethics and become hedonistic to a savage point. I really can't make a correct choice so I guess I'd have to go with Satan, he would drive me about as crazy but at least he wouldn't demand my obedience.

i dont beleive in mystical creatures, but if i had to choos i would say satan...he doesnt seem as jugmental as god. God is like do this do that...you are never good enough...blah, blah, blah. Satan on the other hand (i assume) would let you do what you want...he doesnt say you never be evil enough or you are too good....but yeah...the way these theists talk about god...hes like some over bearing control freak, OCD parent who thnks that there poor child will never be good enough, but if you do what he says then ok you are good enough....lol i dont know luv...thats why i choose to be athiest...
peace and love- chai

Assuming they were real.....I would rather spend eternity in heaven, and have eternal happiness, than to burn in the fires of hell.

Well, "With Satan, eveything is always, gimme, gimme." So, I guess I would rather spend eternity, with God.

actual mercy does no longer recommend forgiving evreyone, it ability expressing mercy to those worth of forgiveness. there is not any bible record that devil has sought mercy nor that in spite of if he did he would be worth of being forgiven. Jesus indicated that some sins are "unforgivable" and recognising that's an expression of actual Justice.
