That Bush and Blair were wrong to invade Iraq, causing directly or indirectly the loss of 600,000+ lives, and should be held accountable in an appropriate court?
That Israel in its actions against Lebanon and Gaza, acted with grossly excessive force? That the media need act with greater responsibility
That Islam needs to accept the need for change and to distance itself from the fanatical zealots whose sole agenda seems to be death and destruction
People in the UK are force-fed a diet of militant muslims here and abroad, marching, chanting, burning flags, bearing banners of hate. The measured response we hear from the muslim community is 'this is our religion' or 'you are ignorant' or 'islam is perfect. will of Allah.no need change!'.The spectre of muslim women in English towns covered head to toe and wearing the Niquab, has the same cultural resonance as Swaztikas instead of poppies for remembrance day. It is associated with fury and hatred towards the west from muslim countries

Bush and Blair were wrong. Even George's daddy when he was President after the first Iraq war stated that Iraq was contained and could no longer threaten its neighbours never mind the US. Saddam therefore couldn't develop weapons or even move troops without fear of attack from the US and British jets constantly overflying the country. The threat excuse was bullshit.

Israel definitely needs to be reeled in and the sooner a middle eastern state develops a nuke the better. At least israel will think twice about using force instead of dialogue.

Islam does need to change but so does the West. Change is not a one way street.

No, not at all. War always has a price, and they did what they felt was right. I believe that the media twists actual facts into a more interesting or terrifying story, so that they get more sales and/or ratings. Israel has had many problems with them for several years. The majority of Islam does not agree with the fanatics. You see more of the fanatics because it is what sells, and is more interesting to news producers than people praying peacefully. If you research it, you will see that Islam and muslims are very peaceful for the most part, and wish us no harm. You just see more fanatics on television. And what does their wardrobe matter? It's a different culture. We have teenage girls walking around looking like prostitutes. Little girls are playing with Bratz dolls that are slathered in make-up and midriff shirts. Young men feel pressure from their peers to have sex at a young age. Is this healthy? I would say that this show our cultures high regard for self respect. I think that it is arrogant to believe that simply because something is different, it is wrong, and needs to be westernized.

buddy!!

who created those so called Islamic militias in the first place??!!
who financially supported and trained AL Qaida members on American soil back in the 80's??
who used to give political asylum to WANTED terrorists from all over the Arab world and considered them political refugees and offered them protection??
who made Saddam Hussein? who gave him weapons of mass destruction? who helped him invade Iran? who tricked him into invading Kuwait and then turned on him?
who's trying to control the world and interferes in other countries' business?
who plays the divide and conquer game?
who planted Israel in the middle of the Arab world? who gives Israel $6 billion dollars worth of weapons each year?

what are the reasons for extremism, why is the Muslim world fed up? and how can they fight oppression?

Terrorism is WRONG killing innocent CIVILIANS is cold blooded murder and that's what our beautiful religion teaches us. but some times people don't act according to their religion when they are under stress and oppression.
they are told to fight oppression but NOT to TRANSGRESS and not to cross the line and go over the Limits of God which is harming innocents. not even a tree or an animal are to be harmed.
what happened in the US on 9/11and in London on 7/7 and all those similar events were NOT holy and totally unjustified.
but those fed up people are doing what they can to avenge their enemy.

we should change our policy we should try to fix things not cause more chaos we should stop being selfish. is this ever gonna happen? i doubt it!

and every thing remains the same.

I think you are wrong about Bush and Blair invading Iraq, and they've committed no crimes. I do think you are right about the media as they lack any kind of responsibility and dont even try anymore, just a source of propaganda

1) Bush & Blair were & are right. Saddam was a threat to all of us.
2) In war there is no such thing as excessive force. If you try to hit me, I promise I will hit you a lot harder. If you are seriously injured, tough. You shouldn't have tried to hit me. The Arabs were (& are) trying to kill Israelis on a daily basis. If foreigners were launching rockets into American I hope Our President wouldn't show as much restraint as Israel's leaders have.
3) Tere is no credible evidence that the the terrorists are not the norm in Islam today.
4) I don't live in England & have no special attachment to it so I won't comment.
