If Sacha Cohen did not have Jewish heritage, this movie would be received much differently. I saw the movie tonight and did my fair share of LOL. Although not a Jew, I do have Jewish heritage and found myself laughing at the absurdity of the Jewish slams. Many people however are not Jewish and don't know Sacha's heritage or motivation and seems to be laughing a little differently which I found to be disturbing. Do you think non-Jews and people unaware of Sacha heritage might be laughing for the wrong reasons or am I just a little sensitive on that issue. If you were unaware of Sacha's heritage, does knowing it change your perception of the film?
