I need someone to explain what happened. Was the tower bad, or did they not know? What really was happening between the girl and the tower. Did every really tell you what the tower was used for? I just wat some one to explain what was the movie all about?

The tower replaces everything within 2kms around it with matter from other paralell universes, the girl Sayuri's mind is trapped in another universe. They are researching the tower and paralell universes and they find out she's linked to it. One group of people wants to destroy the tower and reunite Japan while the other wants to research tower. In the end the tower is destroyed and she loses her memory but the guys promises to build their love again. It's implied the tower is linked to her genetically as in it's made from her DNA cause it says her grandfather built it.
