I agree! Rain has such a soothing quality to it. Nothing beats a cool shower of rain especially in the summertime. The sweet scent of wet earth is also welcoming.

I absolutely love the rain. I love laying in bed at night with the window partially opened and you can hear the cars driving through the rain. There's something about that sound that's really soothing.

I grew up in Oregon and lived in Seattle for three years. I live in Chicago now and it doesn't rain nearly enough here. I'm always happiest when it's kind of a gray, rainy day outside. Everyone else gets all depressed but I'm the only one who seems to love the rain.

Living in Hawaii, I get SICK of sunshine. Just sick of it. It's November and it's still fricking hot over here. Tourists might think I'm crazy, but that's because they dont live here. The rain is like an answer to a prayer. Just picture it: one straight month of humidity and heat finally broken by a downpour of sweet, blessed rain! It makes me cry with joy. I am a rather sweaty person, so the sunlight makes it worse for me. Clouds prevent most of the unnecessary sweating and rain washes the stickyness away. I just love running out into the rain and getting soaking wet. It's so fun and immature! I dont care about pneumonia...I just want to embrace one of mother nature's best gifts!

it doesn't rain alot in nevada.i enjoy the rain cause it makes me felled relax. And i been in alot of places witch i had to do a special mission in the miltary and ended up raining.I end up triple as fast then i am when im running in the normal sun.

Laurel I hate rain let swap places? I can't stand rain. I can't believe what I'm reading above me all these people who love rain? are they mad or what. Try living in Ireland and you soon get feed up of rain. Rather live in a desert than see rain

Yes, but it depends on what kind of mood I'm in. For example, if I have alot of shopping and errands to do, I don't want it to rain. But, if I can just stay home and enjoy it, it's the best! Especially if I can stay in my p.j.'s and curle up on the couch.
