do you realize you just asked 2 questions about struts and didnt say what kind of struts? for a house, for a bridge, for a car....

struts are the part of suspension and shock absorbing equipment on the rear end of some vehicles as far as manuals i would recommend chilton's or haynes

I don't think "struts" exist in programming. At least not that I know of.
