I'm in the 8th grade, and I'm in all the honors classes. I'm a guy that gets all straight A's, and my IQ is 109, is that good, bad, what?! What should the IQ of a 14 year old be?

Depending on the test, it could mean anything. You should ask whoever gave you that score what it means. Tho, typically 100 is the average.

IQs are determined by comparing your test results to a standard for your age group. 100 is the average. So with 109, you are just about right and little over!
And yeah, online tests, not very accurate. But then again, IQ tests as a whole aren't very great. Some people aren't good test takers and others are. For example, my bro isn't straight A but he just aced the SATs. And I don't do so well on tests but I do great on essays and labs. It's all very relative....

You shouldn't worry about IQ, although 109 is plenty fine. You're a smart young man, and you're getting A's in school. That's all that matters.
While being smart is very useful, it's not everything. Good self-discipline is just as important. So is a willingness to work hard for what you want.

Your IQ does not change with age-The average IQ for a person is 100,so you are slightly ahead of the game.
P.S.if you got your score from an online test, it is NOT accurate!

If it replaced into one in all those loose on line ones then the score doesnt fairly count number. If it replaced right into a real intelligence quotient try they must have went over your score with you. both way right that is the dimensions one hundred thirty+ Very better 2.2% one hundred and twenty-129 better 6.7% one hundred ten-119 severe accepted 16.a million% ninety-109 accepted 50% 80-89 Low accepted 16.a million% 70-seventy 9 Borderline 6.7% below 70 extremely low 2.2% EDIT: depending on the further suggestion you provided, interestingly like you took one in all those on line IQ exams that are literally not very precise.

don't worry about it; you're doing pretty well. iq is actually based on age, so your age doesn't affect how high/low your iq is. it's actually calculated by dividing how much you know by how much the average person your age knows. the average iq is 100, and standard deviation is about 15. you're in the approx top 27%
