My friend was charged of this misdemeanor and I wanted to help him out......

They are as serious if not more serious than being charged with a DUI.
Tell your friend to try to fight it and get the charges dropped to a lesser misdemeanor.
This charge will haunt him on his personal record forever.

Its bad, but could be a lot worse. Tell your "friend" to clean up. The last thing you want them to do is get labled a tweaker by the local pd. That would make life very difficult. UI a CNS Stimulant is a misdemeanor. I am guessing a fine with 36 months probation. But, this all depends on their previous convictions.

If you really want to help your friend, talk him into going to rehab.
