You could talk about Helen Keller.
You could bring a chart showing the number of Blind people in our country. You could also discuss the Invention of Braille for the Blind!

The National Eye Institute has some photos that show what things would look like to you if you had various different visual impairments. You can double-click on each picture to make it larger, then right click on it to save it or print it.

take a pitcher and a glass (along with a towel) to school, along with a blindgold... then have someone pour a glass of water just using their hearing to determine how much is in the glass.
