Too Young- The Adicts
Orgasm Addict- The Buzzcocks (******* hilarious)
White Light/White Heat, Rock & Roll or Waiting for the Man- The Velvet Underground (good for something a little mellower)
Redemption Song- Bob Marley (Ok, so it's reggae, but everyone should do a cover of it).
Personality Crisis- The New York Dolls
White Riot- The Clash
Too Young To Die- Agent Orange
Raw Power- The Stooges
If The Kids Are United- Sham 69
Psycho Killer- Talking Heads
Psycho Therapy- The Ramones
I've always thought those would make great covers...

Sorry, my music isn't mainstream enough. I can't even really think of what normal people would like to listen to. If you're going to cover a song, make it a popular and fun song. The best covers are fun.
Well I guess I love Bjork's cover of Gloomy Sunday (not a cheerful song). But I wouldn't recommend doing that one. The guidance counsellor would be all over you.

Every band, from the time the song was written, have always played 'Cocaine'. Don't ask me why, but it's good to dance to. Rock groups and country groups still play it wherever I go to dance. Just a classic, I suppose.
