If you mean AFL footy, there is no Monday night games, but there are 2 Monday day games.

it makes it harder with a shorter turn around recovery wise if i was a team playing on a monday i woudlnt be happy saying that its not so bad if the next week they get a sunday game still would prefer weekend only matches,
but as a fan hell yeah great idea though they are day matches not night games
