"Music of the Night"...just a classic! Andrew Lloyd Webber actually wrote this song for Sarah Brightman (she originated the role of Christine on stage)...they were married for awhile. So the personal feelings behind this song make it much more beautiful, in my opinion.
"Point of No Return"...very clever song. Not only a song that represents the love affair of Don Juan and his mistress, Aminta...but also is a double entendre of the passion between the Phantom and Christine.
"Down Once More/Track Down This Murderer". I love this one because it goes from soft emotional pain, to heated anger, to realization of the truth, to sacrifice, and finally to release and relief. So many feelings in one song. I love the "jumbledness" of all three main characters (The Phantom, Christine, Raoul) singing their parts at the same time...I think it greatly represents the fact that the lyrics are representing several mixed feelings.

My absolute favorite song would have to be the Music of the Night (Good God, Gerard Butler's voice is mesmorizing!)
I also love The Point of No Return and of course The Phantom of the Opera.
The soundtrack for the this movie is amazing!

Almost all of them. The ones I do not like are Angel of Music, Masquerade, and Prima Donna. The rest of them are wonderful. My favorite songs are The Mirror, Down Once More/ Track Down this Murderer, Think of Me, & Point of No Return. This is one of my favorite movies EVER! I own the movie and soundtrack, the movie I watched almost 20 times, & the soundtrack is one of my faves of all time. (Still on my iPod, almost a year later!)

I love the song Angel of Music. There is something so intense and brooding about it.
