Use a spyware gurad like windows defender and an updated virus scanner. Then Run a full system scan. If this doesn't yield good results, then format your system partion & re-install windows. Or else run a system restore.

On the advise others have given you, first the bad:

Clearing browser history - will have no effect. Browser history tells where you have been browsing, and doesn't affect anything else. It won't help your problem go away.

Clearing cookies - will also have no effect. It will also give you a headache if you use cookies extensively and suddenly have to remember login information, etc. on every site. Tracking cookies might be an issue with you, but it is not what is causing the sexy popups.

Pop-up blocker: treating the symptoms only, not the cause, the real cause is spyware (see below)

Run a registry cleaner: might have an effect, but unnecessary and worst case, dangerous. The registry stores the underlying settings of Windows, and it is possible that Windows is loading spyware on startup through the registry, but really, using the registry "cleaner" programs is a very bad idea, as in many cases, it actually "cleans" a necessary part of the registry, which will screw you over. Any benefit from running a registry cleaner can be obtained through spyware scans, etc.

Deleting saved files in Java - what? first off, Java isn't extensively used in web design anyway, but it is very unlikely that your sexy popups have anything to do with Java. VERY unlikely. Spyware just isn't implemented in Java because of the limitations of the language. Now increasing the security level of ActiveX stuff is a good idea.

Reformat hard drive/Reinstalling Windows - overkill. Do you honestly want to take the time to do this to kill a few popups?

Loading all programs on External Drive - won't get rid of sexy popups. May improve speed (actually unlikely), and wholly unnecessary.

the GOOD:

Virus scanner - won't get rid of popups, but will get rid of any nasty viruses that may come with the spyware that is causing the popups.

Spyware scanner - YES, will get rid of your popups. This treats the actual cause, not just the symptoms (the popups).

Troydowning ^ up above has some GREAT advice on the different Spyware scanners and the caution you must exercise when deciding which one to use. Use Spybot Search & Destroy as your safest bet. The AVG Free Edition is a good choice for virus scanner if you don't already have one.

Make habit of cleaning your PC before start your work and after u finish ur work. That u can do by deleting the Temp Files & Cookies in Internet Options. Run Ad-aware spyware Prog. (Full system Scan) and above all don't forget to run Live update of Norton in the night. Also do Windows Security updates time to time. Any lapse on these steps will cause again the same type of Spy Pop-ups.

Use these scans below to remove malware.

All of these are ones that I personally use and all are free.

AVG Removes I-Worm/Stration · BackDoor.Generic3.GBB and .GBC · Worm/Generic.FX · Exploit.WMF

Spybot - Search & Destroy detects and removes spyware, a relatively new kind of threat not yet covered by common anti-virus applications. Spyware silently tracks your surfing behaviour to create a marketing profile for you that is transmitted without your knowledge to the compilers and sold to advertising companies. If you see new toolbars in your Internet Explorer that you haven't intentionally installed, if your browser crashes inexplicably, or if your home page has been "hijacked" (or changed without your knowledge), your computer is most probably infected with spyware. Even if you don't see the symptoms, your computer may be infected, because more and more spyware is emerging. Spybot-S&D is free, so there's no harm giving it a try to see if something has invaded your computer.

BE CAREFUL!!
Many of the "free" "Virus Removal Tools" are virus-like themselves!

Print this answer if you can. (If you decide to use this).

The best one I've found so far is "SpyBot Search and Destroy".

it is available at

www.spybot.com

Download the program and install it.
Launch the program.
Download ALL of the updates.
Use the "Immunize" option.

After you have ALL of the updates,
Shut down your PC.
Wait about 30 seconds after you computer has completely shut down.
Un-plug your network connection.
Then power up your PC.

As soon as it starts to power up, start pressing the "F8" key every 3 to 5 seconds.

This will bring up a "Boot" menu.

Use the option to start the computer in "Safe" mode.
(NOT with network support)

Once your computer has started in "Safe" mode, run
SpyBot Search and Destroy.
Do a complete system scan and see what you find.

Then shut down your computer again.
Plug in your network connection.
Start your computer up again.

GOOD LUCK!

it sounds like you have spyware. you should try a program like ad-aware or spybot. also scan your comp for viruses. my favorite progam for that is avg free. if that doesnt help you could always reformt your computer and reinstall windows but thats of course a last resort. all of the items above are free and theyre what i use. but if you have something that works better for you thats fine. i just like to give suggestions when im helping someone. hope this works!

delete all ur cookies. then buy/download an anitvirus software like mcafee because it has antispyware, firewall, and a pop up blocker so that there will be no sexy pics that pops up. if all of these still wont work, reformat ur computer.
