Do you think its fair to give the points to only those you know, or do you vote for anyone's answer?

I asked this because someone answered another of my questions with " we keep the points in the Family" and quite frankly I don't think that is fair. A best answer should be chosen because of its value not because you like other askers or answerers

I vote for the answer that's better thought out, or more informative. The one I prefer. Doesn't matter who wrote it.

Sorry, but you misunderstood my answer! Most Yahooers give Best Answer Points to "Friendly" people - not people who come and go (Like Person's who've just started a new fake account) and then say outrageous things and act with childish behavior! We're ALL here to have FUN! Make us laugh or answer a question sincerely and you will get Best Answer!

I don't know anyone on here. But if I did, I would still give the points to the best answer. That's the point. People that give points to only people they know aren't following the rules, and we can all see that. It isn't like they are getting away with anything.
