I think it's just sexual objectification of woman, since men seem to not care if they're actually lesbian or not; just as long as they hook up with each other. But I'm interested in what fellow Yahoos! have to say.

In studies, guys actually like watching male/female action more. Macho guys in groups go for the lesbian action to avoid the obvious attraction that comes from watching other guys. But in private, guys are more turned on by straight sex between a guy and girl --or two guys and a girl. Most guys won't admit it, but an erect penis does turn them on.

I believe its a matter of how society views gay women as preferential over gay men, and alot of men find lesbians erotic creatures.
