Best distortion pedal to use for punk rock...?

I really like the DigiTech Hot Rod pedal for punk...but i was wondering what other bands/guitar players prefer...

**** Digitech, there pedals blow!!!! Buy a Boss Ds-1 disotortion pedal. I have been using it for a long time, and cant find another pedal better. Digitech can't compare with boss, boss has got a real tone, digitech sounds generated. Hope I helped.
