Julie Andrews has sung the song "Doe, a deer, a female deer" for the movie "The Sound of Music". She acted in it herself and most of the songs were sung by her.

If it's truely played 'after' The Sound Of Music, then it's definantly not new...LOL! But, I'm just pickin' on ya! I haven't heard of such a thing! But it sounds like I would WANT to hear such a thing. So I will find it. I'm a dj. I can find anything...lol ;-)
