Hi,
Is there a website or a list of movie, cartoons or fairy tales that have magical empty boots that walk about on their own accord? its been done in alot of movies and cartoons as im fasinated with the idea since i was a little girl but dont know where to look,

and I promise this will be the last time i post as its been the fourth time but nobody had a clue and there was lots of bad feedback so i was worried about other people seeing the evil things people said about me, im only human and can be hurt very easly, Ive always liked slapstick fairytales and so does my 40 year old sister.

It was originally In bedknobs and broomsticks i think. The "substitutiery locomotion" spell just before they go to fight in the war. I cant think of any other cartoon or film before then that it was in.

Need to get that movie on DVD ^_^

I'm really sorry that you have been treated so negatively but there is no guarantee what you will get when you post questions on the Internet. My advice is not to take things too seriously as these people cannot possibly know you or what you are about. I was intrigued by your question and was going to say that magical shoes stories aren't exactly rare and I was reminded of the Moira Shearer film " The Red Shoes " which was based on a ballet which in turn was based on a story by Hans Christian Andersen I believe. But then I read your question again and realised that you said magic empty boots and I was stumped. I can't even imagine the concept of a pair of empty boots scaring anyone - maybe by sticking their tongues out or having their soles taken by the devil As for fairy tales I have heard of someone wearing 7 league boots but I don't remember who. My advice would be to check out H.C.A. or Grimm's but I expect you have already done that maybe myths and legends from eastern Europe they are always good for magical clothing anyway best of luck and don't give up it just encourages bullies

I remember boots walking by themselves in shrek 2 (puss in boots), and don't worry about the people on here i too love a good old disney film or animated cartoon ones i'm 26 but still love them.

I think there was a pair of dancing boots or scenes of them) in Walt Disney's Fantasia. Hope this helps.
