I've noticed more people with cardboard signs. I doubt they're homeless. There was a woman in Dallas a couple of years ago who went out begging on a street corner and cleared enough to pay off her family's mortgage on their 6 bedroom house. It was in the Dallas paper! She started it after her husband lost his job, because she didn't want to work full time (that's what she said, not my idea) and had a can she held saying need to feed my children or something like that. They come out more at Christmas because people are supposed to feel more generous then.

I have noticed them but not just for Christmas, they have been here for a long time, and I am sad to say that many of this people are refugees...some of them are thankful and others are mean, they have thrown things at my car and insulted all of my ancestors and the future generations; it is a sad fact that some homeless people are really angry and others just "use" the holidays as an excuse to ask for more money.
Thanks for clarifying your answer to one of my questions. I agree...we are here just to have fun and learn something in the process.
