I have 2 old cell phones and I don't want to recycle or just throw them away. I was looking for some creative ways to destroy them. Any ideas? small explosives? dry ice? let me know.

The most enjoyable way I've found to destroy a Cell phone (F*ck you very much you cheating whore of an xgf :D) Is to shoot it, I like pistols but depending on the State or City you live in that might not be an option, an M-1000 Would do a decent job, the only problem is, its just a loud explosion, no fire or anything cool like that, Watch out for the battery though, the liquids could really hurt you

Do you not know that destroying a cell phone hurts the environment? I know where you could sell it if you are interested.
Some of the old cell phones are worth from $1 to $20.00, working or not.

anyway, you could always shmash it up into pices with a hammer, then put it in a fire--chemical reactions could cause the fire to change colors--or make small explosions, and that will rock. never really tried it, so not positive that it will work, but i learned about those kinda stuff in sci...

I like the slingshot idea, but take it a step further, go A.C.M.E. Sling-O-Rama! like Wile E. Coyotye would use, a BIG ole rubber band tied to trees in a desert/field and launch!
The Rockets are also fun. Catapult is da BOMB

Try getting on the roof of your house and dropping them to see which one dies- um falls first.
Drop them in the bathtub?
Use a slingshot?
put your phone on the floor and jump up and down until the phone looks like a bunch of pieces of metal?
play field hockey with it?

We've burned one at a tailgate party before. Believe it or not, we took it out after it was half melted and cooled it off in the snow and it still worked!!! Then it was taken back for a new one. Amazing.

you should donate them. however if they are in really bad shape, you could drop them to the ground from a really tall floor on a tall building. i did that once by accident.

launch them out of a clay pigeon launcher and shoot them with a 12 gauge... i've always wanted to do that!
