So i am writing a horror story but i need help for an idea? can anyone help?

Try this idea..........For halloween we take a walk around the block with the kids and adults that want to go.....Everytime we come to a house that is empty and for sale, one of us makes up a story as to why they are moving, or who died there, or who was murdered there...........Some of our made up stoies are quite elaborate........they can be funny, sad or downright gruesome.
It.s up to the storyteller to hold the interest of all. Good luck!

I'm always freaking myself out, always. So, here's a few ideas off the top of my head: those black people figures on crosswalk signs would be a bit scary to actually seeing crossing a street at night, maybe a black shaggy-haired ghostly figure smiling through the window at the garage door as he locks his overwhelmingly huge eyes with you and stares, or maybe a guy that starts a friendship with a ghoul/monster/ghost/demon whatever and they have fun terrorizing innocent people? There's a few for you to think about. :-)
