Here are my favorites:

Soap Scum: Lime-A-Way or Kaboom
Grease: Simple Green unless it's on upholstery, then I use an artist's dry cleaning pad (see link below) followed by Woolite stain wipes.
Air Freshener: Ozium first, then any scented room spray you choose
Multi-surface dusting: Swifters plus Old English wiping cloths every now and then on wood
Drop in Toilet Bowl Cleaner: None - I used to use them but the plumber says they rot the flappers and gaskets. Now I just use Comet Cleanser or Lysol Gel Bowl Cleaner.

The best thing to remove grease, oil, soap scum, for me is "Easy-Off"oven cleaner. Only buy the one in the blue can, because its easy on your skin, and its fume free. Air fresheners,I put a little full strength Ammonia, in a small bowl and set it in the room out of the way. The ammonia rids the room of bad smells, but you can't smell the ammonia. For polish, I like behold, but once a month, I treat everything with lemon oil. And NOT "Formby's"that's the worst! I don't use drop in stuff. I keep mine sparkling white with "Comet" and a pummis stone.(the toilet of course!)

I use scrub free soap scum removal, it works. For the kitchen I use lysol disenfectant on the counters and stove. The Mr clean eraser works wonders. I loke candles tomake my house smell nice, but if you keep the garbage cans clean and the bathroom and kitchen clean, and not have dirty clothes piled up, your house will smell good without and scents to try and hide the smells. I use a swifter duster to dust, and I use lysol toilet bowl cleaner to clean the toilet. When all else fails bleach and water is a cheao and wonderful thing to use to clean countertops, and sinks.
