how long do i have to wait?

if i am now two days later thabn my usual cycle. Thursday is the end of the normal 28 day cycle. i did a test this morning and it came negative. what do i do now?????

Well, I am going through the same problem and I am 8 days late. Everyone keeps telling me to go get a blood test done or you can wait another week ( I know how hard that is) then you can try again. But they say that your first morning pee is the best time to do it. Some women like myself their hcg levels are not yet high enough yet to detect it. The girl above me said to have sex jokingly but guess what she was right! If you are late on your period and have sex you should start your period not long after. The suction from sex pulls everything out. I know this sounds gross but a nurse told me this and it has worked for me every time. As for the pregnancy test I hear different time tables on when you can test positive for me it was the day my period was suppose to start the first time and the second time I found out I was pregnant I tested positive 13 days after conception. I was told thought that this varies with each person. Good Luck to you!

If you don't get your period in the next few days do the test again. It just may have been alittle early yet. But most of all relax stress can delay a period and if you are excepting it's not good for you or your baby.

Do what you normally do and if it still doesn't come take another test. Two days doesn't mean a whole lot. You will probably be waiting another couple weeks.

You can always got to a Dr. and get blood test done its very accurate
