iTunes tripling my music?

I just got a new iPod so I downloaded the new iTunes, when it went to import all my music it tripled all of my songs. How do I get rid of the unneeded two ones of every song?
There's over 3,000 of them now, so I can't do it by hand...

I just deleted everything added to it today and it fixed it.
