The Christmas Spirit. It is a chill runing through your arms, and the shiver on the back of your neck. It is when you think your heart is going to bust if you don't jump up and down. The thought of rushing down the stairs and finding that your family got you some thing.

The Thought Of Giving

I don't think I could pick a favorite part of Christmas. I love it all except the sadness that comes when I think of my baby that died at Christmas time. Christmas time is my favorite time of year. I get so excited about decorating for Christmas and finding presents for everyone. I love driving around looking at Christmas lights and listening to Christmas music. I like to find ways to help others at Christmas. I really like to just go visit friends before Christmas just to cheer them up because it is such a depressing time of year for many of them. I love preparing all that yummy food for our family Christmas dinner. I especially love getting together with family and visiting and enjoying their company. My husband and I were married on Christmas Day, so celebrating our anniversary is another favorite part of Christmas for me. There is just no way I could pick a favorite part of Christmas.

The gathering of My Family.....Seeing everyone and The hugs that we share...Laughing and setting around sharing memories of the ones that are not with us any more....Having something good to eat....Every one their has something that they really enjoy eating..A little something up under the tree for everyone...The greatest thing about Christmas is I live in a small country House .And when everyone comes we have to share the beds with one another and cozy up were ever we can find a place to sleep...Brings back memories of how we had to bunk up when we were kids...Just being together is one of the most important thing .Family is everything to me...But seeing that gleam in your Children now all grown now I get to see it in my Grand kids eyes...The decorating of the tree...Seeing the bright lights ..And yes I have always taught to my children .The true meaning of Christmas..The birth of Jesus..And this is what this celebration is all about...Have a wonderful Merry Christmas....

To me I have to take this in two parts, religious and worldly. I love that it is the time that the birth of my Savior is celebrated and we are reminded about the many trials that he went through even at birth for us. On the worldly side I love to see other peoples faces light up with joy when they get a gift that they weren't expecting. Any way you look at it Christmas is a great time of the year.

Driving around and seeing the Christmas Lights (and I do my own lighting display too). The PEACE AND QUIET -- especially now that I'll FINALLY be the Empty Nester (was a long-term single parent to two disabled children and they are now independent, and suffered through a short disaster of a marriage).

Just being able to sleep in, not being surrounded with greedy, uncaring, irritating and abusive people -- which means -- FINALLY I'll be safe, warm, comfortable, and with peace in MY OWN HOME.

look what u look to ask. I love everything about christmas except the commercialisation of the day. I love the religious aspect and the warm feelings and the togetherness that only Chrstmas can bring. I hate how people take advantage of the time to sell everything they could think of though
