The answer is Douglas Anthony Marrillier.

He scored 56 runs in 24 balls with the help of 10 fours and 1 six in the First One Day International Match of 2001/2002 series between India and Zimbawe played at Nahar Singh Stadium, Faridabad. In reply to Indias score of 274 runs, Zimbawe scored 277 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 49.4 overs and won the match. Zimbawe had lost their 9th wickets for 253 runs and due to heroics of Mrrillier, who remained not out with 56 runs, Zimbawe gained an impossible victory.

Andy Flower has been (till date) the best exponent of reverse sweep in the world of cricket. He did win many matches for Zimbabwe. He was a great player of spin bowling. But I do not think reverse sweep can be termed "Unconventional" shot.
The second guy is D A Marilier. He used to hook over the head of the wk, he also swept the medium pacers to win the match for Zimbabwe. In a match at Faridabad, India in 2001, he swept low full tosses to great effect to win the match against India.

I will go with Marilier.

Why only a Zimbabwean cricketer? Any roadside cricketer can play any kind of shots against substandard bowlers of the present Indian team and take his team to victory.
