Assuming you mean within your browser, use the Firefox browser (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/) and add the Addblock Plus add-on (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1865/)

Install a pop-up blocker software. Some toolbars come with pop-up blockers for free like yahoo.... You can access yahoo.com and install the toolbar.

Try it out!
