Okie dokie... in act one scene three... when the three witches see Macbeth and Banquo what do the witches predict for each? They predict something for Macbeth, and I think that's that he will become kind... but I don't know what they predict for Banquo... anyone know?

That he would be lesser than Macbeth but greater.
That he would be less happy but happier than Macbeth.
and that he would get kings but be no king.

They predicted that Macbeth would be king.

"Lesser than Macbeth but greater," meaning Banquo will not be King, as Macbeth will, but Banquo will be the father of at least one King (Fleance, his son), and Macbeth will have no children to succeed him to the throne.

they predicted that banquo won't become king but his kid will. Which means macbeth will die without a kid.

Forgive me this... I just happen to notice lately,,, Sooooo many Q's involving Willie, and various plays. It seems it must be that time or the year for many school programs to be involving students in Shakespere, and most especially MacBeth.
