Yea some lizards do come out at night and some don't!

Only nocturnal lizards come out at night. About 75% of Gecko's are nocturnal. Some Skinks are diurnal, but most are nocturnal. Where I live in AZ, we have Gila Monsters and they are nocturnal too.

Lizard residing in houses do come if there are enough mosquitoes etc for them to eat.

Depends on the type of species.

Nocturnal species are active at night
Diurnal species are actuve during the day


Some species need their blood to be a certain warm temp before they can move.

Some do like Mr.October said most like it when its sunny but I have seen some at night.
