My daughter will be one soon and I would like to be pregnant by march-april of 2007, any sugguestions? I recently started a low carb (not a no-carb) diet which Im sure will help me lose some of the extra 85lbs Im carrying by march or april 2007.

The first thing to do is make sure you're ovulating--a good indicator is regular cycles--not longer than about 35 and not shorter than 25. If your cycles are regular then start charting your basal body temp to pinpoint ovulation--www.fertilityfriend.com Best of luck to you!

I am more the 85 pounds over wieght . Before I had my first child I was 140 but went up to 234 cause I had problems that need sergury after having baby . It was so hard to lose after and and when I was on a roll I got pregnant again but lost the child. Well not to long after that I got pregnant again but just kept my numbers low on gaining. Now That I am starting over I am on wieght watchers, and excercise. I like the fact I can eat reg food and not worry about trying a diet with thier food ill gain back. Excercise and drinking water does wonders to . I feel so much heathier. A women at my class at weight watchers lost 50 lb in 16 weeks . She is my role model

Exercise and eating healthy will definitely help you. I'm not overweight, but I know that really helped me get rid of my baby fat after having my son. My favorite workout is tae-bo... it's a lot of fun, and if you do it correctly, it will tone you up, and help you get rid of some of that weight. I like it also because you can do it in your own home. For some reason, I just don't (and never have) liked ppl watching me in the gyms, so I try to work out at home. Plus, with Tae bo, if you get frustrated with your day, take it out on that... it's a good stress reliever! And you feel great after you finish it!

Goodluck... it's not easy, but once you get going with a workout- it becomes more exciting and fun!

Well your doing the right thing by doing something to lose the weight.
Just relax and it will all happen for you l'm sure, remember stressing about it can lead to problems conceiving.
You have had one child so unless there is a medical reason you shouldn't have to much trouble conceiving again.
Good Luck

I have heard that being overwight does make it a little harder to conceive, but it is not impossible. Just try not to try so hard and God will let it happen when the time is right. Good luck with your diet and with having another baby!!

No suggestions but I wanted to wish you good luck. Loosing the weight will help you get pregnant. Extra fat stores estrogen and can screw up your cycles and make getting pregnant harder. Good Luck!!!

I'm not 80lbs overweight, more like 60, but I joined weight watchers.
