My wife's birthday is coming up in less than a month. I have decided that I'm going to send her to a day spa as her birthday present.
What I am wondering is, do you think I should send her there alone, or should I go with her, I am thinking about giving her a massage package for her birthday, but the spa also has couple's massages, should I send her alone or go with her and do it as a couple?

I think the together idea is quite romantic. If you were my hubby I would want you to come. So my suggestion set it up for both of you. She will love it. It will definately be bonding time to.

Sounds like she'll be having a very happy birthday!!! If she is a person who loves/likes time to herself then I would say send her alone BUT to go with her is the gift of the massage and time with her loving husband.

This all depends on your wife...is she the type that likes to do things alone and needs alone time? If so send her alone. Does she not get to see one of her close girlfriends that much anymore and want to? If so send her with one of her girlfriends (btw major brownie points for this one). Or is she the type that likes to do everything with you her wonderful hubby? If so go together...you need to think what would please HER the most, everyone woman is different.
But still very nice idea any way you look at it!! Good job your a great catch!

Alone or arrange for her to go with a girl friend. I would also make arrangements for a couple's package in the future for a romantic outing - anniversary maybe. As this is her birthday I suggest the alone or with girl friend. Make plans to pick her up and go for a couple's dinner instead.

If you can afford it, I say go with her! OMG what an awesome gift! She will love it! (I know I sure would) What a nice way to spend a birthday....getting some massages with the one you love, relaxing and taking a day off together! How romantic!! Have a great time!!

Doing this as a couple sounds very interesting. I think it's a great gift. You guys can relax together and then go out for a quiet dinner and maybe a walk afterwards. Romantic!! It will give you lots of time to talk and laugh...just spend time together. I would LOVE it of my hubby did this with me!!!!!

Do it as a couple very sweet of you to send her there. but it would be more special having you there. and its time together and its her birthday which makes it nicer you should definately be part of her day she wouldn't want it any other way.

Best gift would be to send her with a very close girlfriend or sister. Ladies love this stuff. Give her a day off from you. Your gift back will be when she jumps you that night for being so thoughtful.

Definitely do it as a couple. Her birthday should involve you too because you are the most important part of her life now that you are married.

You can go if you want, but it would be more thoughtful if you bought one for her and her best friend. (unless her best friend is a straight guy...a gay guy is ok) That way she doesn't feel like you did it just to get your own massage. And you will get brownie points from her best friend!
