I think we might spend New Year's Eve in chicago, I have never been! We talked of taking the train form here (Michigan)... but what hotels are nice, for a good price and maybe anything with a hot tub? We would be celebrating New Years, our 1 year anniversary, and my 23rd B-day! What are some fun things we could do if we stayed a couple of days?

Check out the W hotels in Chicago, they have cool rooms and great atmosphere.
If you want to be on Michigan Ave, the Westin and the Marriott are both centrally located.
As it will be New Years Eve, do not expect a good price, I imagine the rates will be pretty high.

You had better book soon if you are going to come. Places fill up fast in any sort of area that you would want to stay in. For a nice place downtown, you're probably looking at $500 per night. I live in a hotel/apartments right by the Hancock, and in this building, which does have some tubs with jets, but not a hot tub for sure, the price per night not even during a holiday is $300-ish. And this is okay, but not super nice. Be careful of like the Red Roof (or maybe it was the Holiday Inn?) and stuff downtown, though. They have had problems with bed bugs, so go some place nicer.
You can get some places cheaper towards the airport and take the train in. But they won't have a hot tub, for sure.

I stayed at the sheraton and it was very nice
