Definitely fresh- The bagged stuff always tastes a little flat and I can never seem to get it to exactly the right temperature.

I tried it once, just to see what my quarry's tastes were like, both were coppery, and the one from the bag tasted slightly funny. Ever since I said "aw, what the hell, I'm going to rid the planet of them anyway, why bother caring about the undead?" Now I just settle all my vampire questions by not caring how they think, feel, or live, and get back to what truly matters.
Killing off that which plagues this world.

Fresh, absolutely. There is a warmth and sweetness that is lost once it has been outside of the body for an extended period of time.

Fresh, absolutely. When we kill a deer, there is nothing so exhilarating as a good drink of warm blood, then we eat the liver and give thanks to the animal for giving us sustenance.

Actually blood-based food is high in bad cholesterol and heavy metals which can harm you later in life.

If you can get the bag to lay still long enough...you can get it fresh.
