I am sure that there are statistics available to you through you Health and Human Services Department.
What do you mean by Welfare? Are you referring to all government aid or just monetary checks. Many children (regardless of their parents age) receive government health insurance. In my state at least the eligibility requirements is not very difficult for those programs because children need their healthcare needs met (vaccinations, well baby check-ups etc.) Are you asking about food stamps? Because I worked in a grocery store in high school, and I would say there is great diversity in the ages of those using food stamps.....

If by your post you mean all young moms are on welfare you are in serious need of an education and some respect.
I was 16 when I got pregnant , never on welfare and now im 19 in college with a convertible.

I don't know the #s but I think a parent shouldn't be judged by their age. I know of deadbeat parents in their 30's. And older people abuse the welfare system as well.

Its not just young adults tho its older people too..why are you bashing on the young adults who get pregnant...when most of the older adults havent even grown up yet! How RUDE!!!!

i coudlnt give you a number but i would guess that the vast majority of kids having kids are receiving SOME financial help of SOME kind.
