I'd talk to his probation officer. . You say he's ADHD, so there might be a home for kids with disorders like that. . Talk to his doctor also, and see if this is the kind of place you'd want to put your son.

Family counseling would probably be a good way for you to open the lines of communication with your son. At that age, sometimes they close down. They are going through puberty, and pressures in their social life contribute to a breakdown in communication with parents. A third party mediator/counselor will assist in overcoming the humps. Good luck!

hi. im 17 but im also married and have a child. anyways..... i was a "troublesome teen" too. but i had reasons, most do. my family was full of druggy's, mentaly and phisically abusive, ect... so before you blame him, evaluate the situation. it might not be ALL his fault. when my mom finally got off my back and left me alone, i straightend out. i stopped getting into trouble as much, stopped fighting, stopped doing alot of things. and i also "supposedly" had adhd, and depression. what seemed to help me was taking "flax seed" and "omega3 fatty acid" capsules. my phsyciatrist recommended them, all natural and they really worked! i lost weight healthy like, and i could consentrate better, ect... so that might help. if you didnt want to put him on all types of drugs. and dont worry about sending your son away, its kind of messed up that your so willing to get rid of him. he is 16 now give him 2 years he will be 18 and out of your life for good, if thats the way you feel about him.

I know you love your son but sometimes rock bottom (jail ) will be the only way to scare the crap out of him and maybe he will straighten up.
