I'll name some:
1. bigger screen (3in.)
2. FM tuner
3. Connectivity to the Xbox 360
4. Wi-Fi capabilties (to send songs)
5. all you can eat subscription (from Zune Marketplace)
6. scratch resistant
7. personal backgrounds (album art, pictures, etc.)
8. Portrait and Landscape mode (iPod doesn't have landscape)
9. it's new, and somewhat intersting
10. has brown color

No much, not much at all.
They do have a bigger screen (3" instead of 2.5") - but the screen is of the same resolution, so in some cases the images will look grainier because of the larger screen size.
They also have Wi-Fi which let's you send a song to a another Zune user -- but the song you share can only be played a maximum of 3 times, and for a maximum of 3 days.
Microsoft does offer a subscription service where you can pay $15/month to have access to all of their music library (2 million songs instead of apple's 3.5 million)
The zune is bigger and heavier than an ipod, even bigger than an 80gb iPod. There are no movies offered on the Zune store (unlike on itunes).

For me right now, I am sticking with the iPod and may revisit this after the 3rd or 4th generation Zune device.

the thing is that it's new...and it can also transfer music wireless onto another zune player....but i do think it's better than the IPOD!!!
