Please support your opinion, if you can. I have listened to her around twice a week for 6 months, and honestly can't think of anything approaching intelligence that has come out of her mouth. She is a classic example of volume over substance. Please prove me wrong with examples (very specific please). I am striving for clarity over agreement here.

Yes, She is very well read and does her homework. She gets a little shrill at times. You sound too biased to appreciate any positive examples of her intellegence so I won't bother. --

When I heard Al Franken was starting a liberal talk-radio network, I was thrilled. But when you listen to it, you hear the same tone and tamber of right-wing talk-radio. It's all hyped up righteous indignation and outrage. Where is the humor?
Franken's books took on the right with humor (though several parts were, admittedly, not funny). The Daily Show and the Colbert Report do that, too. That's what makes those shows great, and popular. They are hilarious. They're not just ripping on people, they are seriously funny while making their points. That's what I expected Air America to be.
Yeah, Randi Rhodes is just annoying.

Like most, I've listened to Air America once and it was right after the election of 2004. She had absolutely zero to say on any issue other then "Bush is a Fascist, why are people so stupid?". A little less then intellectually stimulating.

I prefer Randy Rhodes -- the guitarist for Ozzy that died in the bus/plane crash.
If you've listened to your Randi Rhodes for six months and still aren't getting it, try mine for a while. It's a lot easier to listen to.

To much whining and crying for me. I can see why air America folded/went bankrupt on the AM dial. No substance. I listen to air America on XM radio now to hear what these knuckleheads have to say and they are very simplistic. Happy now, but simplistic.

I listened to her once and kind of got that general idea and never went back...
but I tend to think that most of those radio show hosts on both sides are lacking in the intelligence department...

she is basicly the "anti Russ Linbaugh" She gives the rant of the far left and brings on some speakers who make it seem like there are alot of people who actually beleive it.
She is intertaning which is her real goal, ( just like Russ)
But she is really good at one thing, if you listen to her, you will hear the real plans of the far left, ( and it is scarey) I listen to part of her show at least every other day.
