The best thing to do is begin taking vitamins. I heard that most of the time pimples are caused by lack of nutrients. Everyone knows that there is no miracle cure for acne, so resist the urge to try proactiv that cost 50 dollars or more. The vitamin I recommend is GNC's Hair, Body and Skin vitamin. It works wonders.

In Oklahoma there is a booth a Penn Square Mall in OKC that you can buy it at. I assume there are similar booths in malls across America. If you haven't already, I would check on line and see if it is available to you locally. When you order Proactiv by phone or net you get a new supply every 3 months and it is $50 after tax. In OK when you buy it at the booth it is $54 after tax. When I used it, I really thought it helped but my dermatologist told me I'm the only one who has ever said so. He put me on antibiotics and Differin Gel to clear up my face and it really worked. If you have insurance dont hesitate to go see the doc!

I bought mine from the mall. I purchased it, and was using it like directed. I got tiny little blisters all over my face, I stopped using it. I waited two years, and tried again, with the same result.. Try buying the travel size first, to test it out!

You can order it on-line. There are some products in some drug stores and targets and wal-marts that claim to be the same, but are less expensive. We are using the alternatives and they seem to work just as well. You can also see a dermatologist that can prescribe acne meds. that are covered by insurance.

i always hear proactive does not work although its all over the commercials. try a deodorant with no aluminum. put it on your face all night and it should not really be noticed by the next morning. maybe DEGREE. thats not what i use. my deodorant doesn't really have a name on it but my dad says its because theres no aluminum and thats what helps it.. blemishes come and go.
atleast it helps me! TRY IT =]
