Do you like to write with a pen or a pencil?

Question

I have to write these notes down-- what I didn't do in school... I'm writing with a pen because it's just easier, and I like the contrast against black and white... and I wondered what y'all like.
P.S. Procrastinating is addicting but don't give in... lol... good night! :-)

Well i have written in pen for most of my life. Up until my last years in high school it's mostly been pen. I feels like a step into adulthood with a pen. It's kinda symbolic. I relate pencils with childhood and pens with adulthood. How, you ask? as a kid, most problems could be fixed and changed with ease. No worries, with a pencil just erase the mistakes. But as an adult, problems seem like you're in hell and can't be removed as easily. as with a pen, the mistakes are much more difficult to erase or get rid of. But yeah, i like writing with a pen more. :)

Pencils are really messy. One smudge, the whole paper looks dirty. Especially when you've filled out an whole paper, and decide to write on the back, with a paper underneath it, I hate how the ink goes on your other papers. But pencils are still useful if you know you're gonna make a lot of mistakes. Erasable pens are a great idea! I prefer pens better.

I like pen because well when I was in the french school I wrote with a fountain pen but now that I'm in an American school I have to write in pencil, I never thought it would be so hard!!! lol

Anyways I write with a pen, its a lot easier and if I have to write a lot it helps not having to keep sharpening the pencil

When I'm composing from scratch, I like to write with a pencil. All other times, I generally write with a pen.

I write in pencil when I'm taking notes, but in pen when I'm writing an essay.

When i was in school i liked the pencil, probably because i thought i would make a mistake. Being an adult i like a pen and i like them in all colors, LOL. Thats the kid in me. Sweet dreams.
