My answer---->I met her at a "Welcome to Middle School" assembly in 6th grade. She started talking to me about our really scary and mean science teacher, and I thought she was really weird and random, but I liked how interesting she was. She sat directly behind me in band, so she continued to talk to me. I am extremley shy, but I finally got comfortable with talking to her and we became 'besties'. She's known as the gothie emo person and I'm known as the super smart girl who never talks, but she helped me out with my shyness and I helped her realize how cool she is and how she doesn't need to wear Abercrombie and Fitch to fit in.

Be elaborate. I LOVE LOVE LOVE long stories!

My best friend and I are in our senior year (Where did the time go!) of highschool. I moved into our district our first grade year. On the very first morning on the first bus ride to our first grade class I got on the bus and had to find a seat (in the front of course). She was by herself. I asked her if I could sit with her. We learned each others name. Then on that bus ride we decided we were going to be best friends. We had the same first grade teacher and on that first day we both got to sit on both sides of our teacher during story time. We've been best friends ever since. Still are ... always will be. Thank goodness for IM! Keeps the distance of our future colleges a bit smaller.

Well, I was really bored at this party when I was about nine and a half or so, way back when, that I had to go to with my parents. My mom and I were sitting together and sipping some Coke. When I finished, I continued to whine to her about how bored I was, typical me. She commented that she detested seeing me so depressed and finally motioned to a girl sitting on the corner of the long, skinny wooden bench. My mom told me to introduce myself to her and I shyly did. Then I told her that I was a really big bookworm and I quietly asked her what her favorite book was. The girl said it was The Swiftly Tilting Planet by Madeleine L'Engle and I said that I liked Roald Dahl's Matilda. She nodded and asked me what it was about and so we launched in a completely intriguing conversation on Roald Dahl's works. I'm the kind of person who always thinks that someone I meet almost right away is a friend, because I'm a friendly person. Nowadays we don't see each other very much, the girl I call Addie, and I, for she lives about two hours away from me and the only reasons we go to her place is because half an hour away is this gigantic shopping centre. Whenever we do see each other, we always hug and air kiss. Not exactly, but we are great friends!

I don't actually remember meeting my best friend, we went to pre-K together. Now I'm married and having babies and she's doing an internship in DISNEY WORLD!! How cool is that? Anyway, she's talking of living there permanently (we're originally from Louisiana) and I'm heartbroken. A girl needs her best friend, ya know?
