Yes, it is okay to keep female guppies with male guppies. The males will not hurt the females. No, you don't have to separate them during pregnancy. They will not harm the females or even the babies. All they guppies will go after the babies at first because of the birthing smell, but it doesn't last long and they will all leave them alone. I have a 55 gallon tank with about 75 guppies. I've been doing my guppies tank for about a year now and everything is just fine leaving them all together.
Good Luck!!!!!

the males shouldn't hurt the females as long as there is a ratio of 2 females per male if not you run a risk of the males hurting each other and possibly killing the female. Be sure to have at least a 10 gallon for 2 trios. this ensures that the females have room to get away. When she gets pregnant and you see the gravid spot in the faintest of grey get a 5 gallon and have it run for 30 days to get hte water right. dont put any rocks in the tank and have a heater set on 80F be sure to have lots of fake plants. get it all at walmart. when her gravid spot is black black put her in the 5 gallon tank. she may have to stay for a little wile but as long as you are feeding her the right amount and the filter is going she should be good to go. when her fry are born romove her into a 1 gallon with a filter and feed her well. DO NOT PUT HER BACK WITH THE MALES OR THERE IS A VERY GOOD CHANCE OF LOOSING HER!! hope i helped!!

Incase of pregnancy? If you have a male with a female they WILL become pregnant. It's only when you have more males then females will you have problems between them that is why you should always have more females then males to give the females breaks. And it's not that they will hurt the females they will just constantly try to breed with them.

"Fish don't get pregnant. The females lay eggs and then the males fertilize them."
There are egg-layers and live-bearers.
Livebearers include guppies, mollies, platies, etc.
Live-bearer females are born with eggs in them and are fertilized by the males. They can also carry sperm in them for months, so simply removing males from a tank will not guarantee no babies.

male guppies will be ok with female guppies. The male guppies will mate with your females. If you want hte fry, you can buy a v slot breeding trap or if you don't want the fry, the other guppies will eat them as they are born.

Fish don't get pregnant. The females lay eggs and then the males fertilize them. If you mix male and female guppies, just plan on ending up with a LOT of fish.
