There's no limit as long as you are approved for the accounts.

I have 3 brokerage accounts with 3 different stock brokers. I have one merchant account for taking credit card payments from customers. I have 3 checking accounts from 3 different banks. I have one credit card account, one cell phone account, one Internet service provider account, 2 retirement accounts, 3 off shore investment accounts, and the list goes on and on. I have one dayplaner just to organize it all and keep all my pass words straight. I don't dare use the same pass word for every thing. If some one hacked it, I'd be in deep trouble very fast.

I just flipped through my little black book and I have over 50 different accounts for different things. There is no limit. Unless you are limited by your funds.
