I agree it should never have been axed but writing letters will not work with fox, Joss whedon the Creator didn't want to have Angel the spin off from Buffy axed either but they did, since then there have been petitions letters fans also raised money to put a advert in Variety Magazine and i heard that some people tried to storm the building or something but they wont budge.
We just have to hope that the very talented Joss can in Firefly's case maybe do another film as Serenity did fantastic at the box office and maybe they can use some of the profit to put into a sequel. but what ever happens i will always love the show

Firefly was one of the best shows ever, but Joss has taken down his production studio and severed all ties with Fox, so the only projects he'll be able to do (after his two current projects even!) will have to be movie studio based. So at the very least, it's a couple years away and by then the actors won't be the same, they won't even be on contract, and it won't happen.
Fans can still go to places like http://richlabonte.net/tvvote/index.html
and show support for the show. And of course, keep spreading the 'verse and bringing more people into the wonderful world of Serenity/Firefly.

Yes, complaining works in isolated cases. However, I suspect this will turn into another Battlestar Galactica, which also was cancelled after one season, but still managed to gather a huge fan base. (Look how long that took to get another series.)
Thanks to DVD release, the fan base of Firefly is large and continues to grow. I am pleased to see that it is doing so well on all the sales charts. Money talks, and maybe someone will listen. Firefly was one of the only things worth watching on TV. I can't believe some of the crap that constitutes a "hit" these days. Of course I still have my "Mythbusters"...but thats another category.

I love firefly, and would love to get it back....but I don't think that would work. I mean when it first got axed the fans tried petitions, tried writing letters, tried everything, and is it back on the air? NO. Just be glad at least you got the movie Serenity (which is freaking amazing by the way). I say don't give up hope, and don't keep trying, but keep in mind that its been several years and still nada....

Want it back,Yes....But as Fox are keeping the TV rights,it's unlikely anyone's going to be continuing Firefly with the original cast..I'm hoping for more Movies...
