i think the easiest way is to divide first by 2 then by 7 (2 x 7 = 14)
2 divided into -224 goes
-112
7 divided into -112 goes
-16
-224 divided by 14 = -16

step 1: -224/14 = -16

get a calculater.... 224/14 = 16 so then plug in your negative... wut u do to one side u must do to the other so if you put - 224 then u got to put -16 so -224/14=-16
