It's different for every one. When you say hard, in what manner do you mean? Is it scholastically challenging, socially or all of that? If it is challenging scholastically maybe you should talk to your counselor, they can help you find the right classes and get side tutoring. Is your goal just to make it through high school or are you trying to get into a good college? If you want to be able to enjoy your life you should really aim for a good college and the highest grades you can get, you can't afford low grades and you can definitely get help to make it easier. Believe me it's worth it to get into a good university. You can have a job you love and the things you want and self respect. Don't put off seeing a counselor or tutor!!!

It is the year that it gets a little more serious. You'll adjust. That first semester is hard, but you'll get the hang of it after winter break. Use the break to polish up on your course objectives. About 30 minutes a day is very little sacrifice, but will pay BIG dividends.
Good luck. The trick is to be prepared.
